  • Patent number: 11913313
Abstract: In one instance, a method of completing a well includes providing a drilling-uncompleted adapter having a first side on an upper portion and a second side on a lower portion and attaching the second side of the drilling-uncompleted adapter onto a casing head of a well. The method further includes attaching at least one fracturing valve to the first side of the drilling-uncompleted adapter and fracturing the well. The method also includes removing the drilling-uncompleted adapter after fracturing and attaching tubing head to the casing head for production. The tubing head does not endure the fracturing.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 15, 2021
Date of Patent: February 27, 2024
    Assignee: Bestway Oilfield, Inc.
    Inventor: Mark D. Albert
  • Patent number: 11802461
Abstract: A hydraulic fracturing tree wing is formed with a studded hydraulic valve next to a manual valve. The stud-to-flange connection allows for a shorter, lighter wing. The studded hydraulic valve maybe a gate valve that includes a T-slot coupling between an operating stem and the gate. A bonnet seal ridge may be formed to withstand undue deformation during operation that wears or destroys seals. A method for forming a hydraulic fracturing tree assembly includes using a flanged manual valve with a studded hydraulic valve. Other valves and methods are presented.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 11, 2022
Date of Patent: October 31, 2023
    Assignee: Bestway Oilfield, Inc.
Inventors: Gassan Dwairy, Ronny Gassan Dwairy, Mark D. Albert
