  • Publication number: 20240270176
Abstract: A crossbar clamp actuator of a crossbar-to-vehicle coupler may include a horizontally traveling wedge block having a ramped, downward-facing first slide surface, and a wedge follower having a second slide surface in frictional contact with the first slide surface of the traveling wedge block. Substantially horizontal repositioning of the traveling wedge block may cause the ramped first slide surface to urge the wedge follower downward, thereby actuating a crossbar clamp.

  • Patent number: 11406778
Abstract: A system to configure respiratory therapy modes for users of respiratory therapy devices comprises one or more processors configured to execute computer program modules. The modules include a data gathering module for receiving usage information related to a respiratory therapy device in a first therapy mode, an analysis module for determining effectiveness information related to effectiveness of therapy, a provider interface module configured for receiving a first unlock selection based on the determined effectiveness information, the first unlock selection being received while the respiratory therapy device is operating in the first therapy mode, the first unlock selection indicating that a second therapy mode for the respiratory therapy device should be unlocked, and a device configuration module configured such that, responsive to reception of the first unlock selection by the provider interface module, the device configuration module activates the second therapy mode for the respiratory therapy device.

  • Patent number: 8332236
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for tracking and monitoring a patient's compliance with a medical device usage prescription for a medical device is disclosed. This method and system includes the steps of: (a) providing a minimum medical device usage compliance value for the medical device for a predetermined compliance period; (b) providing the quantity of compliance periods in a measurement cycle; and (c) determining a compliance period value as the number of compliance periods in the measurement cycle in which an actual medical device usage value is at least equal to the minimum medical device usage compliance value. In another embodiment, the method also includes: providing a weighting factor, and applying the weighting factor to at least one actual medical device session usage value.

  • Publication number: 20030208465
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for managing medical information that includes the steps of: providing a central database of information having disparate data fields containing data, and performing an action based upon the data in the disparate data fields. The method includes of sorting, providing warnings or reminders, searching, organizing, transmitting, and presenting data from the database. The medical information management system includes a central database resident on a computing system. The central database has multiple disparate data fields containing data pertaining to patient-related information. A user interface communicates with the central database for accepting user input and transmitting system output. A visual display also communicates with the user interface to display the disparate data fields in selected or selectable formats.
