Abstract: A bag frame assembly is provided for supporting a pliable bag. The bag has an upper edge defining an opening. The bag frame assembly includes a first frame member defined by first and second spaced rods having upper and lower ends. The upper ends of the rods are interconnected by a first upper cross frame member. A second frame member is pivotably connected to the first frame member and is defined by first and second spaced rods having upper and lower ends. The upper ends of the rods are interconnected by a second upper cross frame member. A first bag support extends downwardly from the first cross frame member. The first bag support and the first cross frame member define a closed, oblong loop. Similarly, a second bag support extends downwardly from the second cross frame member. The second bag support and the second cross frame member define a closed, oblong loop.
