    Abstract: Disclosed are foamable compositions that can be particularly beneficial for foam-in-place packaging purposes. The foamable compositions can be reacted to form a polyurethane foam that can be utilized to secure packaging contents inside a transport packages, and that at a later time can be readily decomposed at low degradation temperatures, e.g., about 90° C. or less. The polyurethane foam can also act as a sink for hydrogen radicals and as such can be utilized for transport of high energy emitting materials, e.g., ?-radiating materials.
