  • Patent number: 11947806
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for life expectancy monitoring for memory devices are described. A memory device may monitor a parameter of a component of the memory device or the memory device overall, and may determine whether the parameter satisfies a threshold. The parameter may represent or be associated with a lifetime of the component, a level of wear of the component, or an operating parameter violation of the component, or any combination thereof. The memory device may communicate, to a host device, an indication of the parameter satisfying the threshold, and the host device may use the information in the indication to adjust one or more parameters associated with operating the memory device, among other example operations.

  • Patent number: 9376255
Abstract: A waste container having a body and a lid pivotably connected to the body. The lid includes a gravity activated locking mechanism having a latch that engages the lid to the body when the container is in an upright position. The locking mechanism rotates to disengage the latch and allow the lid to open when the container is inverted for dumping the waste. The waste container further including a slideable member that is engageable with a locking member when the container is not in an upright position or inverted for dumping, to prevent rotation of the locking mechanism and opening of the lid.

  • Patent number: 6790163
Abstract: A swim stroke exercise device including an adjustable resistance mechanism is provided. The resistance mechanism is attached to one end of the exercise device and includes a roller assembly having a roller clutch and a drive shaft extending from one end and a spring rewind assembly attached opposite the drive shaft. The drive shaft supports a drive pulley including a number of concentric engagement areas having different diameters. Adjustably disposed above the roller assembly, a resistance device includes an output shaft terminating in a mag pulley opposite the resistance device formed similarly to the drive pulley with a number of concentric engagement areas having different diameters that are aligned with the engagement areas on the drive pulley. The concentric engagement areas allow a belt trained about the pulleys to be moved to various positions on both the drive pulley and mag pulley to increase or decrease the amount of resistance provided to the drive shaft by the clutch.

  • Patent number: 6272755
Abstract: A tool for performing lopping, pruning and similar operations includes a housing assembly formed of a pair of telescoping tubular sections. The tool also includes a tool head, a head line and an actuating line. The tool head, which is connected to one end of a tubular section, preferably includes a spring-biased blade coupled to the head line which is connected to a slidable block. The actuating line, while engaging the slidable block so that tensioning the actuating line causes movement of the blade, is also slidable relative to the block upon relative movement of the tubular sections.
