  • Patent number: 11894110
Abstract: To facilitate management of the entirety of one or a plurality of clinical laboratories. This information processing apparatus is used in management of a clinical laboratory in which an analyzer configured to analyze specimens is installed. The information processing apparatus includes: a communication section configured to communicate with a terminal operable by a user; and a controller configured to control display of the terminal via the communication section. On the basis of information collected from a plurality of analyzers installed in one or a plurality of clinical laboratories and from apparatuses relevant to the analyzers, the controller causes the terminal to display a screen including an index that indicates a status of the entirety of the one or the plurality of clinical laboratories. In response to the user selecting the index displayed in the screen, the controller causes the terminal to display the selected index so as to be divided in a plurality of categories.

  • Publication number: 20220253812
Abstract: A method for communicating information related to a diagnostic analyzer includes receiving user identification information from a portable computer. A user associated with the user identification information operates the diagnostic analyzer. First diagnostic analyzer information is retrieved from at least one database that relates analyzer information to the user of the diagnostic analyzer. The first diagnostic analyzer information is related to the diagnostic analyzer. The first diagnostic analyzer information is communicated to the portable computer. Second diagnostic analyzer information from the diagnostic analyzer is retrieved. The second diagnostic analyzer information is generated by the diagnostic analyzer. The first and the second diagnostic analyzer information is communicated to the portable computer. The portable computer is configured to display the first and the second diagnostic analyzer related information.

  • Publication number: 20220036979
Abstract: An analyzer analyzes patient samples and the test results are then validated. The validation of test results may be performed either remotely over a network or at a local computer. For example, while network communication errors may prevent remote validation, the local validation could still be performed, which allows auto validation to be continuously performed. The validation of the test results of the patient sample obtained by the analyzer may further be performed by: 1) the first rule included in the first system of the laboratory; and 2) the second rule included in the second system accessible remotely via the network. The present disclosure further relates to an inspection management method based on at least one of the two rules.
