  • Patent number: 7251658
Abstract: A resume database system allows for resume records on the resume database system to be viewed by others via a Uniform Resource Locator, URL. In addition, in response to instructions from an authorized user of the resume database system, input from an unauthorized, but otherwise verified, source can be added to the database by the resume database system. The verified user accesses the resume database and completes any necessary forms via a web browser and submits the information. The authorized user defines the actions that the verified user is allowed to take. These actions include, for example, only being able to review resume information, or being able to add information to the resume database without needing training on the operation of the database. A resume database server system coordinates the activity of the authorized and verified users. Communications between all three users is accomplished via a computer network.

  • Publication number: 20070022393
Abstract: A method and apparatus for recognizing a state machine in circuit design in a high-level IC description language. The present invention analyzes high-level IC description language code, such as VHDL and Verilog®, of an IC design and extracts description information corresponding to a state machine. The description information can be, for example, the high-level IC description language code corresponding to the state machine, a state diagram of the state machine, a state table for the state machine, or other representation of the state machine. In one embodiment, the present invention identifies a set of one or more processes as defined by VHDL “process” statements. By identifying one or more clocked processes, one or more transition processes, and one or more output processes, the present invention provides a state machine summary to describe the state machine identified in the high-level IC description language code.

  • Publication number: 20050055226
Abstract: A system for recruitment process management is provided that can be used as a tool for performing a consistent process of developing a request for talent (RFT). Such a system may be capable of storing previous RFT information to be used for generating future RFTs. A process for creating a dynamic job description is provided that allows a person referred to herein as a requirements specialist to work with a client (e.g., a human resource manager or other person) to create a job description in an interactive manner. The system may be adapted to display to both the requirements specialist and the client, information relating to the composition of an RFT.

  • Patent number: 6226780
Abstract: The present invention beneficially provides a method and apparatus that can support multiple HDLs in both the creation of new circuit designs and the use of legacy data such as IP blocks. Where a graphical design tool supports a first HDL and design data is provided in a second HDL, the present invention generates an interface description for the design data written in the first HDL, and then generates a graphical design unit based on the interface description. The resulting graphical design unit is supported by the graphical design tool.

  • Patent number: 5172503
Abstract: A display unit for exhibiting a plurality of display materials on a parallel planes spaced relative to each other as well as relative to a wall or other surface. The display unit includes a base, securable to the surface and a plurality of substantially identical spacer elements. The spacer elements are removably securable to one another in a stackable relationship. Each spacer element includes facilities for receiving and aligning other spacer elements in registration therewith and removably securing the spacer elements to one another as well as the base. A mounting facility securable to the spacer elements includes a transparent window for exhibiting the display material. In an additional feature, the display unit base includes a reversible backing member which is removably secured thereto to provide a variety of colored or textured backgrounds upon which to exhibit the display material.
