  • Patent number: 11172375
Abstract: A method and system for determining deployment parameters of a set of customer premises equipment (CPE) in a housing environment. A housing database (2) and a simulation database (3) connected to a processor (4) are present, the housing database (2) storing housing information, and the simulation database (3) storing simulation data with Wi-Fi performance parameters for a subset of housing types. The processor (4) clusters the stored housing information based on the Wi-Fi performance parameters, associates each of the clustered housing parameter sets with one of the subset of housing types, and for a specific one of the housing types determines deployment parameters based on data obtained from the simulation database (3). The matching of a specific housing environment with one of the subset of housing types allows to quickly and efficiently optimize deployment parameters, such as number, type and placement of CPE.

  • Patent number: 6213329
Abstract: A container lid including for holding a painting implement suspended above or in a liquid such as paint. The container lid includes a container engaging periphery for engaging the periphery of the container. A lid web extends between the container engaging periphery and an handle receiving aperture which passes through the lid web. The handle of the painting implement is gripped from above the handle receiving aperture. The handle of the painting implement is gripped between two opposed walls extending upwardly of the lid web which are held in a substantially fixed position relative to one another by sides, the opposed walls are spaced apart to an extent that they exert a clamping effect on the handle of the painting implement when inserted therebetween.

  • Patent number: 6033168
Abstract: A jacking screw for attaching a first panel to a second panel which provides a force in the axial direction of the screw when the screw rotates in a first direction to jack the first panel down to the second panel and which provides a force in the axial direction of the screw with respect to the panel when the screw is rotated in the opposite direction to pry the first panel away from the second panel. The jacking screw has a screw, a ferrule surrounding and coaxial to the screw shaft, and a knob. The first end of the ferrule is attachable to a panel and the second end has an outwardly protruding annular step. The knob is attached to the head of the screw and Ahas a downwardly extending generally cylindrical portion, coaxial to the screw shaft and the ferrule and the downwardly extending cylindrical portion secures the knob to the ferrule allowing for rotational movement of the knob with respect to the ferrule but allowing substantially no axial movement of the knob with respect to the ferrule.
