  • Publication number: 20230218326
Abstract: A joint stabilization (reduction) system and associated methods and tools for placement of the system in an open or minimally invasive technique. The joint stabilization system includes a flexible prosthetic band for stabilizing the bones in proper position and a connector mechanism for joining the two ends of the prosthetic band around the bones. One end of the prosthetic band can be permanently attached to the connector.

  • Publication number: 20230037799
Abstract: Light detection systems are provided. Aspects of the light detection systems include first and second light receivers in fixed positions relative to each other, a plurality of wavelength separators configured to pass light from the first and second light receivers having a predetermined spectral range, and a plurality of light detection modules. Baseplates having a stage for mounting a light receiver, a plurality of recesses for fixing a plurality of light detection modules in rigid alignment relative to the stage, and a heat dissipation opening positioned within each recess are also provided. In addition, particle analysis systems, methods and kits for practicing the invention are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20220074858
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure include systems for irradiating a sample in a flow stream. Systems according to certain embodiments include a light propagator having a first fiber optic operably coupled to a first laser and configured to receive light from the first laser at a proximal end and to convey the laser light from a distal end to a first position on the flow stream and a second fiber optic operably coupled to a second laser and configured to receive light from the second laser at a proximal end and to convey the laser light from a distal end to a second position on the flow stream. Methods for irradiating a sample in a flow stream with the subject systems and detecting light from two or more positions on irradiated flow stream are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20180014865
Abstract: A minimally invasive tissue incision system for creating joint capsulotomies and releasing/incising various tendon and fibrous band structures. The system contains a penetrating needle which is retractable so as to expose a cutting element, and which may be used as a penetrating needle to pierce the skin and other soft tissue structures. The cutting element provided within the penetrating needle may be used to incise subsequent tissue structures after the initial penetration. The system facilitates such procedures by providing the cutting element with the confines of the needle which provides safe introduction of the cutting element directly to the site via the needle.
