  • Patent number: 11230959
Abstract: In one aspect, an aspiration system for a work vehicle includes an exhaust tube extending along a flow direction from an upstream end to a downstream end. The exhaust tube defines an exhaust passage extending from the upstream end of the exhaust tube to the downstream end of the exhaust tube. The exhaust tube includes a venturi portion. The aspiration system also includes an aspiration tube in flow communication with the venturi portion and configured to receive an aspirated airflow. The system further includes a flow adjustment mechanism provided in operative association with venturi portion such that the flow adjustment mechanism is configured to adjust a cross-sectional flow area of the venturi portion of the exhaust tube.

  • Publication number: 20190255916
Abstract: A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) condenser assembly for a work vehicle includes a first condenser configured to be positioned within a body of the work vehicle forward of cooling package relative to a direction of an airflow through the first condenser and the cooling package. The cooling package includes at least one heat exchanger. The HVAC condenser assembly also includes a second condenser configured to be positioned within the body and to receive the airflow from the cooling package. The second condenser and the first condenser are fluidly coupled to one another, the second condenser is configured to receive refrigerant from a compressor, and the first condenser is configured to receive the refrigerant from the second condenser.

  • Patent number: 9689334
Abstract: An air intake system includes a pre-cleaner having a plurality of tubes configured to receive a flow of air, to filter particulate material from the flow of air, and to provide the flow of air to an engine of an off-road vehicle. The system also includes a controller configured to receive a first signal indicative of an air intake flow rate of the engine, to determine a target number of open tubes for the pre-cleaner based at least in part on the air intake flow rate and a desired air flow rate for each tube of the plurality of tubes, and to output a second signal to a component of the air intake system indicative of instructions to enable the flow of air to the target number of open tubes and to block the flow of air to the remainder of tubes of the plurality of tubes.

  • Publication number: 20150275831
Abstract: An air intake system for a work vehicle is disclosed. The air intake system may generally include a filter assembly having a pre-cleaner configured to separate particulates from air received within the filter assembly. The pre-cleaner may define a pre-cleaner outlet. In addition, the air intake system may include a blower having a fan and a housing encasing the fan. The fan may be configured to create a vacuum such that the particulates separate from the air are expelled from the pre-cleaner outlet and flow into the housing. The housing may define a blower outlet through which the particulates are expelled from the housing. Moreover, the flow of particulates through the blower outlet may be oriented non-parallel to a rotational axis of the fan.

  • Patent number: 9091193
Abstract: An agricultural vehicle including an exhaust system. The exhaust system also includes a dosing module having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. Additionally, the exhaust system includes a first conduit coupled directly between the fluid inlet and an engine cooling system of the agricultural vehicle. The first conduit is configured to hold a cooling fluid. The exhaust system also includes a second conduit coupled directly between the fluid outlet and the engine cooling system and is configured to hold the cooling fluid. The cooling fluid is configured to flow from the first and second conduits into the engine cooling system after an engine of the agricultural vehicle is turned off.

  • Publication number: 20130026244
Abstract: A work vehicle comprises an internal combustion engine and a catalytic converter coupled to the exhaust of the engine. A reduction agent system provides for injection of a reduction agent, such as urea, upstream of the catalytic converter. Coolant heated by the engine is directed to the reduction agent system to defrost/heat the reduction agent, and is also directed to a vehicle cabin heating system. Flow of coolant may be preferentially directed to the cabin heating system rather than to the reduction agent system, such as following vehicle startup, particularly during cold-weather operation. Flow may be altered to favor the reduction agent system, such as based upon time and/or the temperature of the cabin.
