    Abstract: Breathing-gas delivery systems and methods are described. In one such system there is a movable partition, a housing and a filter body. The housing is disposed about the movable partition, and thereby provides a respirator side on a first side of the partition, and a patient side on a second side of the partition. The housing also has (a) a patient inspiration orifice on the patient side, which is adaptable to supply breathing-gas to a patient, and (b) a gas exhaust orifice on the patient side.
