  • Patent number: 5349341
Abstract: Disclosed is a circuit for channel units in a digital loop carrier transmission system. Two registers include information related to the health of the channel units. • Patent number: 5311171
Abstract: Disclosed is a circuit for storing and processing information in channel units servicing four channels in a digital loop carrier transmission system. Separate registers are provided for processing information related to different pairs of channels. However, one of the registers duplicates the information included in other register so that only a single register need to be addressed for a particular function.
