  • Patent number: 10221755
Abstract: A thermal controller for automotive applications. A thermal controller in an aspect of the present disclosure includes a valve, a motor coupled to the valve, a temperature sensor, flow rate sensor, heater/cooler element, and a controller, coupled to the temperature sensor, flow rate sensor and the motor, in which the controller alters volume and temperature of fluid flow through the valve by turning the motor based on inputs from the temperature sensor.

  • Publication number: 20170009815
Abstract: A novel split boot design for applications that contain CV joints and/or other bearing assemblies where protective boots or similar covers are required to protect the CV joint or bearing assembly from the outside environment while helping to retain necessary lubrication for the CV joint or bearing assembly. The new split boot design includes zippers along one or more axial seams which represents a significant departure from currently available split boot designs, and is more producible than prior protective boot designs with zipper closures. This new split boot design will simplify protective boot installation and/or replacement by reducing installation and/or repair time, and, thereby, overall cost.

  • Patent number: 5672820
Abstract: The object location identification system includes a Receiving Module (RM), an Angular Measuring System (AMS) and a processor. The RM receives information specifying a user's location and provides RM output data in terms of latitude, longitude and altitude. The AMS is connectable to a pointing device for measuring the orientation of the pointing device and providing AMS output data in at least heading and depression angles. The processor processes the RM output data and the AMS output data and provides location data of an object being pointed at by the pointing device.
