    Abstract: An illustrative example device for use with a tree stand includes a beam that is configured to slide into engagement with a climbing stick. The beam supports at least one of a hoisting member or a gear support member. A hoisting member allows an individual to hoist a tree stand up into a tree with greater efficiency and stability. A gear support member provides a convenient place to situate hunting gear within reach when an individual is situated in a tree.
