Publication number: 20110246222Abstract: A client device facilitates review of electrocardiogram (ECG) tests. The client device performs the ECG tests on one or more patients and sends results of the ECG tests to an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for storage. In addition, the client device displays a test history interface on a display screen. A user of the client device can select one of the ECG tests. In response, the client device communicates with one or more devices to retrieve results of the selected ECG test. The client device displays information about the selected ECG test on the display screen.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 31, 2011Publication date: October 6, 2011Applicant: WELCH ALLYN, INC.Inventors: Frederik W.E. Patent number: 7427267Abstract: In blood pressure measurement of a vertebrate through use of an inflatable pressure cuff disposed about a limb of the vertebrate limb and inflated by pump driven by a motor, the air pressure within the cuff is determined at any given time during the inflation of the cuff by calculating the incremental change in pressure in the pressure cuff over a series of small time increments and summing the calculated incremental pressure changes from the initiation of cuff inflation to a desired point in time during the inflation of the pressure cuff. The incremental change in pressure within the cuff is calculated as a function of the incremental change in current drawn by the pump motor over the time increment.Type: GrantFiled: March 6, 2006Date of Patent: September 23, 2008Assignee: Welch Allyn, Inc.Inventors: Tyson B. Whitaker, Craig M. Meyerson, Edward Wright, Mark E. Pingel
