  • Publication number: 20230285699
Abstract: Presented are manual ventilator systems, methods for making/using such ventilator systems, and clamshell, accordion-style ventilators operable by a lone operator. A ventilator device includes first and second panels pivotably attached together in a clamshell configuration. Each panel has an inlet port, an outlet port, and an internal channel that fluidly connects the inlet and outlet ports. A one-way valve is fluidly connected to the first panel’s outlet port and restricts airflow therethrough in one direction. Another one-way valve is fluidly connected to the second panel’s inlet port and restricts airflow therethrough in an opposite direction. A concertinaed bellows is fluidly connected to the first panel’s outlet port and the second panel’s inlet port. The bellows is sandwiched between and attached to the two panels such that pivoting the panels away from each other expands and fills the bellows whereas pivoting the panels towards each other compresses and evacuates the bellows.

  • Patent number: 9101123
Abstract: A bait delivery system having a container for holding water and a lid releasably attached to the container. The lid includes a door opening and a door is pivotally connected to the lid. A rod extends through a rod opening in the lid and a loop assembly is connected to a lower end of the rod. A bait net is connected to the lid and has a lower portion connected to the loop assembly. The loop assembly has a first position adjacent the container bottom and a second position near the lid. The loop assembly is moved from the first position to the second position by raising the rod. In the first position the door is closed and in the second position the door is open. In a preferred embodiment, the door automatically opens as the loop assembly moves from the first to second position and automatically closes as the loop assembly moves from the second to first position.

  • Patent number: 8839996
Abstract: An apparatus and method for storing and delivering fluid to a person comprises, in at least one specific embodiment, a fluid reservoir having an internal volume therein with an opening disposed through a first wall or a second wall of the fluid reservoir and located toward a first end of the fluid reservoir. A first portion of a tube can be exterior to the fluid reservoir and a second portion of the tube can be disposed through the opening and within the internal volume. At least one insulation layer can be disposed about the exterior of the first wall of the fluid reservoir. The second wall of the fluid reservoir can be configured for transferring heat from or to the internal volume or from the person. At least one baffle is disposed within the internal volume and connected to the first wall and the second wall of the fluid reservoir.
