Abstract: There is provided an axial flux motor comprising one or more rotating disks (10) and a stator (20) comprising a cavity (30) formed between walls (40a, 40b) and containing therein more than one electro-magnetic coil assembly (50). Each electro-magnetic coil assembly (50) comprises more than one pole piece (60), each having an axially extending shank portion (70a) and first and second radially extending end shoes (72a, 72b) and one or more associated coils (55), each of the one or more associated coils (55) being wound around a shank portion (70a), wherein said outer surface (75) of said end shoes are preferably joined to one or other of said walls (40a, 40b).

Abstract: The present application includes an electrical connector with an electrically conductive body portion, having a first end for receiving an electrical input and a second end for connection to a further electrical connection, wherein the connector further comprises an outer insulating jacket around an outer diameter of the body portion for insertion into a recess in an outer surface of a casing through which it is desired to pass the electrical connection and wherein the jacket includes a first axial location member at a first end for engagement with a location member in the recess for prevention of movement in a first inward direction and a second axial location member at a second end of the jacket for engagement with a second axial location member provided on a cover securable to an outer surface of the casing for preventing axial movement of the jacket in a second outward direction.

A tower-like enclosure element that includes a spire, a plurality of support columns and a base surrounds the block-like cooler. Flanges protrude from the columns, the base and the top of an enclosure structure, forming channels for capturing removable side panels that prevent undesired heat transfer that would otherwise occur during cold weather.
