    Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for controlling voice communications through a mobile computing device. In one embodiment, a mobile computing device enabled for telephony communications establishes a telephone call to transmit voice signals and mutes the established telephone call. When ready to transmit voice signals, a control switch configured on the mobile computing device is depressed and held for a duration in which to transmit those voice signals in the established telephone call. Once transmission of the voice signals is completed, the control switch is released to re-mute the established telephone call.

The contact management module may also include a contact information database having a second set of contact information. The contact management module may further include a contact database manager to retrieve the first set of contact information from the contact information database and the second set of contact information from the subscriber identity module cache for a contact application. In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method of operating an online listing system includes determining an identity of a user based on an identifier entered by the user that uniquely identified the user; and capturing call history information when routing a proxy telephone number from the user (e.g., a renter, a buyer, a prospective buyer, a mortgagor, etc.) to a lister (e.g., a landlord, a seller, a rental manager, a mortgagee, etc.). The identifier may be the proxy telephone number and/or a code entered after dialing the proxy telephone number. The proxy telephone number may be converted to an actual telephone number prior to routing the proxy telephone number to the lister.
