Abstract: Disclosed is an image processing method and apparatus. The method comprises: acquiring a reference time code such as a Coordinated Universal Time signal; displaying, on a display (110), a value based on the reference time code; imaging, by a sensor (200), the display (110), thereby generating an image of the display (110); processing, by an image processor, the image including generating, based on the reference time code, a time-stamp for the image; and comparing the value displayed on the display (110) in the image to the time-stamp to determine a latency value. The latency value may be used to correct time-stamps of images capture by the sensor (200) and determined by the image processor.

Abstract: Disclosed is apparatus and a method for displaying a time code. The apparatus comprises: a plurality of reflectors (502), each reflector (502) being configured to reflect an incident signal (907, 908), each reflector (502) being switchable between a first state and a second state; and a controller (108) configured to receive time code information and control the reflectors (502) using the received time code information. In its first state, each reflector (502) has a first orientation such that an incident signal (907, 908) is reflected in a first direction. In its second state, each reflector (502) has a second orientation such that an incident signal (907, 908) is reflected in a second direction, the second orientation being different to the first orientation such that the second direction is different to the first direction.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for capturing and processing images, the images being of terrain (6), the methods comprising: using each of a plurality of cameras (14, 6, 18, 20), capturing an image of a surface of the terrain (6) thereby producing a plurality of camera images, each camera image comprising a plurality of pixels; registering the camera images, thereby producing a plurality of sets of registered pixels; classifying each set of registered pixels; using a ground penetrating radar (8), capturing a radar image (24) of the terrain (6); performing a detection algorithm on the radar image (24) to detect an at least partially subterranean object or terrain feature (26) in the radar image; and associating the detected object or terrain feature (26) with at least one classified set of registered pixels (28, 30).
