  • Patent number: 11721332
Abstract: In various embodiments, a voice command is transmitted while the user is performing an activity. The user’s activity is determined, along with follow on actions for the request. If the user is performing an interaction-limiting activity, subsequent actions may be presented in a simplified display to reduce the likelihood that user interacts with the display. Additionally, certain follow on actions may be considered complex. If a complex follow on action occurs during an interaction-limiting activity, the request may be flagged and delayed until the user has completed the interaction-limiting activity.

  • Publication number: 20220363568
Abstract: Described herein is a networked smart device capable of transmitting water flow and quality data to a cloud database, in real-time. In some instances, the device is part of a broader ecosystem or platform comprised of one or more of the devices, associated software and data management. This type of platform enables data analysis of water intake and quality, for a variety of users. Physically, the device itself connects to a water outlet such as a sink faucet or refrigerator intake pipes, and is integrated/incorporated into a flow-through water disinfection reactor as well as a filtration mechanism. Additionally, flow sensors and antennas for wireless communications capability can be included to transmit the data. An accompanying software application and back-end database management allows device users to manage their data and track their water intake.

  • Patent number: 11500543
Abstract: A controller of the data storage system may poll a non-volatile memory component to determine an operational status of the non-volatile memory component after a memory operation has been initiated in the non-volatile memory component. The controller may, in response to determining the operational status of the non-volatile memory component is busy, update a polling interval based on a polling factor. The controller may re-poll the non-volatile memory component to determine the operational status of the non-volatile memory component after expiration of the updated polling interval. The controller may repeat the updating of the polling interval and the re-polling of the non-volatile memory component until the operational status of the non-volatile memory component is determined to be ready or until a predetermined number of iterations of the updating and re-polling have been performed if, in response to the re-polling, the operational status is determined to be busy.
