Abstract: A fixture for supporting a tool includes a housing defining an aperture receiving a projection of the fixture, a shaft extending through the aperture and into the housing, the shaft including a series of external threads, and an adjustment dial threaded onto the threads of the shaft and including an engagement surface in contact with a surface of the projection, the adjustment dial configured to adjust a position of the tool relative to the housing when the adjustment dial is rotated relative to and moves along the shaft.

Abstract: A system for welding vehicle component assemblies includes a measurement sensor configured to scan first and second vehicle components, a welding apparatus configured to weld the first vehicle component and the second vehicle component together, and at least one processor configured to execute computer-executable instructions to access scan data of the first and second vehicle components, generate a CAD model of an as-scanned assembly of the first and second vehicle components, obtain input parameters associated with one or more features of the first and second vehicle components, generate predicted optimal welding parameters, using the machine learning model, based on CAD model and the input parameters, and control the welding apparatus to perform at least one welding operation on the first and second vehicle components according to the predicted optimal welding parameters.

Abstract: A system for providing dynamic backgrounds in live-action videography is disclosed having a camera for recording live-action video, a display wall, situated within a line of sight of the camera, for displaying a background, a database of images for displaying on the display wall, a computer in data communication with the database and the display wall, a mobile device for providing inputs to the computer, the mobile device configured to present a list of the images in the database for selection for display on the display wall, the computer receiving a selection of one of the images, the display wall displaying the selected image, the mobile device configured to present a list of modifications for the selected image, the modification altering the appearance of the image on the display wall, the computer receiving a selection of a modification, the computer processing the selected modification to the image to generate a background, and the display wall displaying the background.

Abstract: A pill crusher pouch having ribs and intersecting straight bottom seal portions. The pill crusher pouch is used for holding a pill or tablet to be crushed by a pill crusher device so as to form a powder that can easily be dispensed and provided to a patient. The ribs increase the strength of the walls of the pouch, preventing rupture. A curved flap is folded over into an open end and resiliently pressing against the inside surface of an opposing sidewall sealing the pouch.

Abstract: A method and system for monitoring wireless service utilization is described. The teachings comprise: providing a logical database comprising service usage records providing triggers for a wireless service consumed by a wireless device; providing a contact address associated with the wireless device; after an interval, determining if the utilization consumed to-date for a current billing period by the wireless device activates one of the triggers, wherein the interval is at least an order of magnitude less than a billing period; generating a message corresponding to the activated trigger, with the message including values determined during the determining step; and sending the message to the contact address.

The pill or tablet splitter has a tray with a plurality of slopped bottom V-shaped pill or tablet holding clamps. A blade attached to a cover-cutter is placed over the tray. The cover-cutter is forced downward by the movement of the lever splitting or cutting the pills or tablets.
