  • Patent number: 10100873
Abstract: A bushing is provided for adjusting to differences in diameter between concentric elements of an assembly. The bushing may be provided with a plurality of leaf springs coupled to one another to form parts of a wall. The bushing wall may have a first contact face and a second contact face opposite the first contact face. The bushing wall may also be configured to be positioned in a generally annular shape. Each of the leaf springs forming part of the bushing wall may be radially deflectable relative to each of the other leaf springs in order to self-align the bushing by the resilient response of each leaf spring.

  • Patent number: 8297211
Abstract: A stitcher is provided that includes a needle to stitch a workpiece, a motor to operate the needle, and a stitch regulator in communication with and capable of controlling a speed of the motor. A controller is in communication with the stitch regulator. The stitcher also includes at least one accelerometer in communication with the controller to determine an acceleration of the stitcher with respect to the workpiece. A signal representing the acceleration of the stitcher with respect to the workpiece is utilized to adjust the operation of the needle as necessary.

  • Publication number: 20100186646
Abstract: A stitcher is provided that includes a needle configured to place stitches in a fabric that is moved therethrough. The stitcher includes a sensor positioned below the fabric to monitor stitches placed in the fabric. A microcontroller is provided configured to receive data from the sensor and, based on such data, to compare one or more attributes of the monitored stitches with one or more predetermined parameters relating at least one attribute of the fabric. The predetermined parameter may be either hardcoded inn the microcontroller or input by a user of the stitcher prior to beginning operation of the machine. When the attributes of the monitored stitches fall outside of the predetermined parameters, the microcontroller initiates notification of the user.

  • Patent number: 6404250
Abstract: A memory system on a semiconductor body is tested by testing components formed on the semiconductor body. A programmable clock signal generator receives an external clock signal and selectively generates an output clock signal having a frequency at a predetermined multiple of the received external clock signal. A counter receives the output clock signal from the clock signal generator and generates output signals having a cyclical binary count up to the predetermined multiple of the received external clock signal. Memory locations in a programmable look-up memory store separate commands for testing the memory system. The programmable look-up memory receives each of selective remotely generated binary encoded address signals to access a separate predetermined look-up memory section, and the binary output signals from the counter for sequentially accessing separate memory locations within the separate predetermined look-up memory section.

  • Patent number: 5538075
Abstract: An indoor heat exchange unit and method of making same characterized by an arcuate coil shape heat exchange unit made by bending a single tubing row, planar heat exchange unit to fit within a limited space with an open inlet at one end and blocked at the other end so as to force air to flow past the coil and transfer heat through the fins and tubes of the coil in the process. Also disclosed are preferred embodiments in which an air circulation fan circulates air and where a thermostat controls the flow of heat exchange fluid through the coil as the air is passed through the arcuate coil to obtain a predetermined temperature, or the like, in the air.

  • Patent number: 5209458
Abstract: The present invention discloses a flexible leveling device for the leveling of various vehicles, particularly recreational vehicles. In the preferred embodiment, the flexible leveling device of the invention generally comprises an elongate member of flexible material, with first and second ends, having a series of separated elements, preferably blocks, of steadily increasing height interconnected thereto. Each of the separated elements is interconnected to the flexible member, starting at the first end thereof with the shortest element, progressing with successively longer elements to form a steady incline, and extending through the length of such member to the second end thereof. Each separated element is disposed on the flexible member so as to provide a uniform space between adjacent elements, allowing the device to be formed into a curved configuration for use, or to be folded over or rolled to facilitate storage.
