Abstract: The present invention teaches a method and device for return of lost articles, comprising a label affixed on the article/item, an instant registration of the user, and a central registry identified upon the label having contact information associated with the user. Lost and found locations will be made aware of the device and system of the present invention and will offer it to consumers upon purchase of a product, rental of an item or service, hotel/rental counter check-in or rental counter. The labels of the invention contain a centralized database telephone number or web address, and an anonymous owner number. The centralized database and return center then communicates with the owner informing them of their found item.

Abstract: An L-shaped steel rail of a bed frame, having a top edge and a face surface; a protective member being disposed at least in part above the top edge of the steel rail, the protective member being designed of a compressible material suitable for spreading a force of impact, the member minimizing damage to an object impacting against the top edge of the steel rail, and the protective member minimizing damage to an object impacting against the face surface; and mechanism for attaching the protective member to the steel rail and a method of use including the steps of providing a steel rail of a bed frame, having a top edge and a face surface; and shielding the steel rail, minimizing a force of impact between an object and the steel rail.

Abstract: A length of impact absorption material has a configuration including a channel closed at the top and open at the bottom of substantially uniform width of less than one eighth of an inch. The portion of the configuration above and exteriorly adjacent to the top end of the channel is at least a quarter of an inch thick. An interior portion and an exterior portion of the configuration are laterally opposed to each other upon either side of the channel. A length of absorption material possessing this configuration is positioned upon the vertical leg of an L-shaped steel rail of a metal bed frame, which is approximately one tenth of an inch thick, such that the top edge of the rail meets the closed top end of the channel. The top portion and uppermost portion of the exterior portion of the length of absorption material provide cushioning for the top edge of the rail.
