  • Publication number: 20240144622
Abstract: Techniques for aligning object representations for animation include analyzing a source object representation and a target object representation to identify a category of the source object and a category of the target object. Based on the category or categories of the objects, a feature extraction machine learning models is selected. The source object representation and the target object representation are provided as input to the selected feature extraction machine learning model to generate respective semantic descriptors and shape vectors for the source and target objects. Based on the semantic descriptors and the shape vectors for the source and target objects, an alignment machine learning model generates an aligned target object representation that is aligned with the source object representation and usable for animating the target object.

  • Publication number: 20240077004
Abstract: A phasing system for an internal combustion engine having a concentric camshaft includes an annular stator rotatable by the crankshaft and having inner and outer circumferences, and two groups of arcuate cavities. The first group interrupts the inner circumference. A first phaser having an output member as a hub is mounted within the stator in contact with the inner circumference and supported directly on the camshaft tube as a concentric stator bearing. The first phaser has vanes connected to the output member and extending radially into the first group to divide cavities into opposed working chambers. A second phaser comprises first and second end plates at opposite stator sides and fastened to one another to axially seal the cavities therein and, as second output member of the second phaser, connect to vanes extending axially through the second group of cavities to divide the cavities into opposed working chambers.

  • Patent number: 6971196
Abstract: A message sign includes a panel having a plurality of ribs each defining an interior channel. The plurality of ribs are preferably spaced apart in parallel relationship. At least one lamp is secured through an opening in at least one of the ribs. In one preferred embodiment, the message sign includes a first and second panel, each preferably including a base web, wherein the ribs of the first and second panels extend outwardly from the base web of the respective panels. The base webs of the first and second panels are abutted with the ribs thereof extending outwardly therefrom in opposite directions. The first and second panels are oriented such that at least some of the channels of the first panel cross at least some of the channels of the second panel and form a plurality of junctures of crossing channels. Preferably, at least one lamp is secured through an opening in at least one of the plurality of ribs at one of the junctures. A method of manufacturing a message sign is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20050008729
Abstract: A device suitable for use by children which recycles broken crayons and other materials by melting and molding. A stationary melting pot securely retains the charge material during heating. A housing substantially surrounds the melting pot and an associated mold chamber to isolate young operators from all heated surfaces. The melting pot is charged from outside of the housing by use of a filling port. A remotely operated gate controls the flow from the melting pot to a mold. A door provides access to the mold when open and prevents access to the mold chamber when closed. A warning light glows when a heating element for the melting chamber is energized. Various safety switches interrupt power to the heating element if certain conditions are not met.
