    Abstract: A fluid-tight strain relief seal for a cable connecting an electric device is disclosed. In a housing for an electrical device an integrally molded nipple is provided that is configured to carry an electrical cable therethrough. The nipple comprises a proximal portion and a distal portion, the distal portion being closer to an exterior wall of the housing and the proximal portion shaped like a barb. A sleeve is fixed over the cable, the barb and the nipple to provide the seal.
