  • Patent number: 11639591
Abstract: A panning tool is described and comprises a sifting scoop comprising an elongated half sphere of proportional dimensions. The left side wall, right side wall, and back wall of the sifting scoop define a reservoir for collecting sediment and holding precious metals and gems separated from the sediment during and after panning. The floor extends forwardly from the back side and can comprise riffles, furrows, or be flat. The panning tool comprises a connection body. The connection body is affixed to an interior face of the sifting scoop. Methods of using the panning tool and manufacturing the sifting scoop are also described.

  • Patent number: 11236481
Abstract: A panning tool is described and comprises a sifting scoop comprising an elongated half sphere of proportional dimensions. The elongated half sphere can be a one-piece main body comprising a floor with a front edge, a left side wall curving upwardly along the floor's left side, a right side wall curving upwardly along the floor's right side, and a back wall curving upwardly from the floor's back side. The left side wall, right side wall, and back wall define a reservoir. The floor extends forwardly from the back side. The panning tool comprises a connection body. The connection body is affixed to an interior face of the sifting scoop. Methods of using the panning tool and manufacturing the sifting scoop are also described.

  • Patent number: 5833419
Abstract: The angularly accessible head for a threaded connector comprises a spherical structure having a centered slot therein, the slot having a bottom surface or wall in the shape of an inverted V, with a center point thereof extending toward and terminating below the center of the sphere. The head is functionally accessible from a plurality of planes which are not coplanar with a center plane of the slot.

  • Patent number: 5606898
Abstract: The angularly accessible head for a threaded connector comprises a spherical structure having a centered slot therein, the slot having a bottom surface or wall in the shape of an inverted V, with a point thereof extending toward the center of the sphere. The cooperating tool includes a hollow cylindrical head portion having an open end, the open end being defined by opposed plateau areas in one plane and opposed cusp areas in a transverse plane, with a rod extending across the open end between the plateau areas.

  • Patent number: 5309665
Abstract: The flying action fishing lure includes a body which is oval or torpedo shaped and has a pair of wings engaged thereon to simulate the shape of an insect. The lure has an elevated line engaging eye mounted to the body as well as a fixed in position single or multiple pronged hook depending therefrom. The body of the lure is partially hollow, trapping a bubble of air therein which is dimensioned to provide a zero flotation coefficient. Action is produced by application of steady pressure to a line engaging the lure causing a sideway slip as well as rotational motion and in and out of water flying action to the lure.
