Abstract: The present animal cooling mat apparatus includes a mat shell, at least one coolant sheet, at least one cushioning pad, and at least one foam pad. The coolant sheet is removably located within the mat shell, with the cushioning pad removably located within the mat shell above the at least one coolant sheet and the insulating pad is located within the mat shell below the at least one coolant sheet. The coolant sheet provides a heat sink to rapidly cool an animal, while the cushioning pad facilitates heat transfer and the insulating pad reduces the amount of ambient heat transferred from the environment. Multiple apparatuses may be combined to accommodate larger animals.

Abstract: An system of equipment for use in playing games in which pairs of balls that are tethered together are thrown from a distance at horizontal crossbars with the objective of looping sets of balls around the crossbars. The system includes a support stand having several detachable components including the horizontal crossbars that act as the targets in the game, vertical columns that support the crossbars, and a base including support members having support legs for supporting the vertical columns and crossbars. Each vertical column comprises a pair of matching rectangular indent bars joined together with a rectangular shaped in-line connector. The crossbars are constructed of D-shaped tubing and the indent bars have reinforcing ribs that provide added strength and stability to the assembly. The tethered balls are comprised of a soft vinyl material and each pair is connected by a short rope the ends of which are glued into place inside of the balls.

The walls of the cooler may also include one or more layers of thermal insulation. The ice sheets provide a visually pleasing appearance to the inside of the cooler suggestive of cooling effects. The ice sheets may be retained along the walls of the cooler by seams sewn along the lanes passing between the refrigerant cubes, by being retained in pockets formed by sidewall liners or by being secured into chambers defined by the cooler's outer walls and a plastic insert fitted into the cooler. The cooler may include a hinged top and bottom that can be folded flat for allowing the cooler to assume a compact configuration during storage or freezing of the refrigerant cubes.
