    Abstract: A wooden suspended ceiling assembly is designed to support acoustical tiles and is constructed of a plurality of interlocking wooden members. Cross-extending wooden beams are joined together by notched connectors with the notched connectors being attachable to a conventional ceiling by hooks. The cross-extending wooden members are provided with upwardly extending dowels for positioning tiles, while sidewall and corner connectors also comprise notched wooden blocks.
