  • Publication number: 20180006809
Abstract: Particular embodiments described herein provide for an electronic device that can be configured to store data in a secure domain in a cloud network, create encryption keys, where each encryption key is to provide a different type of access to the data, and store the encryption keys in a secure domain key store in the cloud network. In an example, each encryption key provides access to a different version of the data. In another example, a counter engine stores the location of each version of the data in the cloud network.

  • Patent number: 7616627
Abstract: A system, apparatus, method and article for high definition audio modems are described. The apparatus may include a communications path comprising a communications bus and buffers, a codec to couple to the communications bus, and a processor to couple to the communications bus. The processor may be arranged to execute instructions for a software modem to determine a round trip delay value for a communications path, and adjust the round trip delay value by varying input to one of the buffers. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20070012437
Abstract: An improved inflatable packer is provided. In one embodiment, the improved packer has a tubular mandrel with an outer diameter essentially equal to the deflated inner diameter of an inflatable element surrounding the mandrel and has fluid flow passages that are adapted to cause at least a portion of pressurized fluid for inflating the element to be introduced into the annular space between the packer and the mandrel in a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tubular mandrel.

  • Patent number: 6952621
Abstract: A single chip audio system 100 includes a bus interface 101, digital to analog converters 110, an analog mixer 115, and analog spatial enhancement circuitry 7500. Digital to analog converters 110 convert digital audio data received through bus interface 101 into analog signals. Analog mixer 115 mixes signals received from digital to analog converters 110 with an analog signal received from an external source. Analog spatial enhancement circuitry 7500 enhances first and second mixed analog signals output from analog mixer 115.

  • Patent number: 6405093
Abstract: Amplitude control circuitry 5000 includes a first register 5001 for storing received amplitude control data and a second register 5002 for storing amplitude control data transfered from first register 5001. Output circuitry 5005, 5006, 5007 controls the amplitude of a received signal in response to amplitude data transferred from second register. A sensor 5003 determines when data stored in first register 5001 and second register 5002 does not match and enables a comparator 5004 when data in first register 5001 and, second register 5002 does not match. Comparator 5004 compares a signal output from output circuitry 5005, 5006, 5007 with a reference signal and generates a signal for enabling the transfer of data from first register 5001 to second register 5002 when the signal output from output circuitry 5005, 5006, 5007 falls within a window defined by the reference voltage.

  • Patent number: 4754812
Abstract: A packer, preferably utilized for dual string operations, comprising a plurality of axially stacked body elements including, from the bottom up, a hydraulic housing, a lower cone element, an annular slip cage containing radially expansible slip elements, an upper cone element, a lower packing expander, an expandable packing element, an upper packing expander, a receptacle, and a retainer plate. All of said elements are provided with two bores equal in diameter to that of the tubing string to be run which extend entirely through the axial stack. One bore accomodates a long string mandrel and the other bore accomodates a short string mandrel conventionally connected to a short tubing string. The short string mandrel is connected at one end to the hydraulic housing and at the other end to the receptacle housing. Fluid pressure is applied to concurrently effect the downward movement of the hydraulic housing and the upward movement of the lower cone to set the packer into engagement with the conduit wall.
