  • Patent number: 11929595
Abstract: A plasma assisted spark ignition system includes an ignitor and a power supply. The first ignitor includes: a casing having a first end, a second end that forms a first electrode, and a longitudinally extending passage, a second electrode which protrudes longitudinally outward from an opening at the second end of the casing and laterally spaced inwardly to form a spark gap, and an electrical insulator (dielectric) surrounding a portion of the second electrode, and which has a terminus that is at least closely spaced to an interior surface of the end of the casing. The power supply supplies a plurality of voltage pulses to the ignitor per ignition event to generate a flash over on the dielectric. Subsequent pulses in an ignition event may be at lower amplitude than an initial pulse in the ignition event. Pulses may, for example, have a duration on the order of a nanosecond.

  • Patent number: 9792612
Abstract: An electronic device may derive information specific to the device, dynamically generate a matrix code that includes the information as well as user support information, and transmit the dynamically generated code to a display. When a user captures the matrix code with a reader device, the reader device may decode (or use a back end server to decode) the specific information specific and the user support information and initiate a user support request. Thus, user support for electronic devices may be facilitated utilizing dynamically generated matrix codes, such as (but not limited to) QR codes. In response to the initiated user support request, user support may then be provided for the user. Problems may be automatically taken care of for the user, tutorials may be provided for the user, one or more notifications may be provided to the user, service calls may be scheduled for the user, and so on.

  • Publication number: 20160227721
Abstract: A modular hydroponics system for growing plants includes a frame or framework of one or more cages, wherein each cage preferably includes, a source of electrical power and water, at least one moveable light source and at least one moveable circulating fan. Plants are arranged on benches in ebb & flow containers in a stadium arrangement. A mechanism moves the light source along the benches and a reflective hood directs light to the plants. The fan circulates air to control the air temperature within the framework. A watering system supplies and collects water to and from the plants. The pH and nutrient levels in the water is monitored and controlled.
