  • Publication number: 20240110743
Abstract: A refrigerator includes a filter, a receiver, a manifold, and a cam. The filter has a handle extending therefrom. The receiver defines a cavity configured to receive the filter. The manifold is configured to engage an opposing end of the filter relative to the handle via axial rotation of the filter. The manifold is configured to pivot upward to transition the filter to an activated position. The manifold is configured to pivot downward to transition the filter to a deactivated position. The cam is configured to interfere with the handle in response to partial axial rotation of the filter to prevent the filter from pivoting upward to the activated position. The cam is configured to provide clearance for the handle in response to full axial rotation of the filter to facilitate the filter pivoting upward to the activated position.

  • Patent number: 10640393
Abstract: A water treatment apparatus that includes: at least one module which operatively and selectively treats one or both of an original household hot water received from the household hot water line and water flowing through the module and treats cold water received from an original household cold water line that flows through; a process control unit whereby a user selects a desired treatment option for the water flowing through the apparatus to be dispensed to the user; one or more plumbing connections which operatively divert the original household hot and cold water flow to the user selected water treatment module so as to dispense to the user the selected treated water; and one or more valves which operatively cooperate with the process control unit to direct the water flow within the apparatus so as to provide the user with the selected treated water.

  • Patent number: 9639899
Abstract: Methods, devices, systems, and non-transitory process-readable storage media for utilizing information related to tracking devices to support repossession and improve financing account management. In some embodiments, a server processor is configured to obtain account information corresponding to a borrower account, wherein the account information may include location information of a borrower tracking device within a vehicle associated with the borrower account, generate a message based at least in part on the obtained account information, and transmit the generated message to a borrower device associated with the borrower account. The message may be one or more of an email, a short-message service (SMS) text message, a telephonic call, or a push notification via an application. The borrower device associated with the borrower account may be one or more of a mobile device, a land-line telephone, and the borrower tracking device within the vehicle associated with the borrower account.

  • Patent number: 4397700
Abstract: Diferrocenyl piperazines represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein Fc represents a ferrocene radial R represents alkylene radical hng from 1 to 7 carbon atoms, and x and y are 0 or 1 are disclosed as burning rate modifiers for ammonium perchlorate composite propellants. Coating ammonium perchlorate crystals with the differocenyl piperazines significantly decreases migration of the piperazines in the propellant.
