  • Publication number: 20240083527
Abstract: An alignment system for approaching a vehicle to a target object spatially spaced therefrom, including an object detection device attached to the vehicle and a coupling element, which in an end position detachably holds the target object, the object detection device being aligned in the direction of the target object and the data from the object detection device being used to generate an image in which the target object together with a guide marker can be seen during the approach of the vehicle. The guide marker is applied to at least one component of the vehicle arranged in an entry area of the coupling element.

  • Publication number: 20240067280
Abstract: A coupling device for a towing vehicle with an object detection device attached to the coupling device, wherein the coupling device has a coupling body in form of a fifth wheel plate and a locking mechanism, with which a coupling device in form of a kingpin is releasably held on the coupling body in its end position (E), wherein the coupling body includes an available space which is limited by a coupling device guiding contour and extends along a longitudinal axis (x), wherein the coupling device is at least partially immersed during coupling into the available space until reaching an end position (E).

  • Publication number: 20180212445
Abstract: In situations where services or operations are being conducted in the field away from infrastructure, it may be useful to have a portable power system to power drones that require battery packs and have relatively short life times. A portable power system, such as a portable drone power station, may be uniquely qualified to provide affordable remote backup power. A portable drone power station may comprise a case with at least one handle. Inside of the case there may be a plurality of lead acid batteries connected to a power inverter connected to a power supply to charge one or more drone batteries. The lead acid batteries may be monitored by a battery level indicator.

  • Publication number: 20100019040
Abstract: A portable scanner device with integral audio output for audibly identifying a multiplicity of scanned items for a user is disclosed. The portable scanner device comprises a hand-held housing, a sensor disposed within the housing (the sensor configured to detect and sense a scanned item), an audio output to aurally present audio data to the user of the portable scanner device, a processor to identify the scanned item and to generate an audio response through the audio output, a memory configured to store a plurality of data items for the processor, and a power source disposed within the housing. A speaker, an earphone, a headset and/or a wireless ear piece are used to present the audio data to the user of the portable scanner device.
