  • Publication number: 20240108506
Abstract: An arrangement for OCT-based laser treatment of vitreous floaters. The arrangement for OCT-based laser vitreolysis includes an OCT system, a laser system having a deflection unit, optical elements that couple the OCT system and the laser system, a display unit and a central control and operating unit. The OCT system is configured to localize the floaters, the laser system is configured to destroy the floaters by application of laser pulses and the central control and operating unit is configured to determine apart from the coordinates of the localized floaters also their distance to structures of the eye, to derive exclusion criteria for the treatment, to align the deflection unit of the laser system to these coordinates and to focus and activate the laser system. The present invention relates to an arrangement for the gentle, low risk and painless laser treatment of vitreous floaters, which enables partially or fully automated therapy.

  • Publication number: 20210387737
Abstract: Embodiments are directed toward an air directing device that can interface with an aircraft to form an air curtain. The air directing device can include a housing with one or more inlets and one or more outlets. An engagement component can engage the air directing device with a PSU of an aircraft. The air directing device can receive air from the PSU through the inlet and direct the air to the outlets. The outlets can include nozzles that output the air curtain.

  • Patent number: 9145208
Abstract: A modular integrated galley in a passenger vehicle, including a mounting rack in the form of a vertical wall including upper, middle and lower storage areas, at least one storage slot extending laterally between the middle and lower storage areas for storing a work surface therein, and a latch for ejecting the work surface at least partially from the slot into a position for being further extended into a fully deployed position by a user. An elongate hinge that extends vertically along a mounted edge of the doors and is adapted for allowing the door to move 180 degrees of travel between its closed and open positions is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20060032612
Abstract: There is provided a gas heat exchanger 101 comprising a coolant conduit 102 having a coolant inlet 103 and a coolant outlet 104, a gas cooling conduit 201, and a gas bypass conduit 203. At least a portion of the gas cooling conduit 201 is disposed between at least a portion of the coolant conduit 102 and a portion of the bypass conduit 203. During a first mode of operation, the gas cooling conduit 201 is configured to carry gas. During a second mode of operation, the bypass conduit 203 is configured to carry gas and the gas cooling conduit 201 is configured to reduce a heat exchange between the coolant conduit 102 and the bypass conduit 203.
