  • Patent number: 10281741
Abstract: An ophthalmic lens treatment planning System receives lens and ophthalmic lens treatment information from a customer lens order, identification of available equipment to apply ophthalmic lens treatment(s) from the customer order, and performance and parameters of the available equipment. The ophthalmic lens treatment planning System formulates an optimal ophthalmic lens treatment plan to be implemented by the available equipment to apply the ophthalmic lens treatment(s) from the customer order to the lens. Following application of the optimal ophthalmic lens treatment plan to the lens, the resulting lens may be measured to provide last run results and the last run results may be fed back to the ophthalmic lens treatment planning System to provide further performance and parameters of the available equipment to the ophthalmic lens treatment planning System.

A social calendaring application may be implemented amongst users of one or more messaging platforms, such as chat-based text messaging, by a calendar application server. Calendar event configuration, viewing and invitation response mechanisms may be presented to each user on a user device via a web-based user interface. An event may be represented and transmitted within a chat application as a URL, directed to or associated with the calendar application server. A chat application user may select the URL, whereby the calendar server may identify the responding user and present, inter alia, a web-based user interface enabling, e.g., viewing of an event associated with the URL, acceptance of an event invitation, contribution of content to a shared event, viewing of content associated with a shared event, and/or viewing of a personal calendar associated with the responding user.

  • Publication number: 20100061888
Abstract: Decontamination is achieved by practicing a method using the disclosed apparatus for producing a magnetically energized, excited decontamination aerosol 26. The apparatus has a source of decontamination fluid 10 and an aerosol producer 12 that operates at substantially one atmosphere ambient pressure. A magnetic energizer 20 modifies the energy state of the aerosol 14 which then passes through a charging ring 24. The further modified, excited droplets 26 then permeate a location or contact an object 28 to be decontaminated.

  • Publication number: 20060137812
Abstract: A vessel includes an inner layer forming a substantial enclosure and including a chemically inert material. An intermediate or bondable layer is mechanically attached to the inner layer. The intermediate layer can include a fibrous material. An outer layer is bonded to the intermediate layer, and surrounds at least a portion of the inner layer. A method for forming the vessel includes disposing a bondable layer against an inner surface of a mold shaped to form a substantial enclosure. A preform formed of a plastic material is disposed into the mold. The preform is heated and pressurized causing the preform to expand to conform to the mold to form the substantial enclosure, and causing the plastic material to embed into an exposed portion of the bondable layer. The substantial enclosure with the bondable layer is removed from the mold. Another item is bonded to the bondable layer.
