  • Publication number: 20210296838
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a new improved dual crimping and cutting tool, such as a portable hand tool with removable for repair or adding features having a rotating jaw serving in one area as a cutter blade against the body of the tool, and in an adjacent area a crimping portion for conducting a semi-circular crimping for one of multiple size conductors. The invention includes features such as a multi-die removable wheel, a rounded periphery multi-die removable wheel, a dual segment jaw, a multiple angle crimping nest, a new jaw with a self-release and a manual release, a high leveraged multi-groove driving pawl, and a removable blade system.

  • Patent number: 9943041
Abstract: In order to support a plant in a bucket that has a top and outside rim, a trellis base having a base surface portion and a rim engagement portion is disclosed. These portions seat on the top and outside rim of the bucket and extend around and beneath the top and outside rim of the bucket. A bottom portion of a further extension wall carries a hold down means which when positioned beneath the top and outside rim of the bucket, anchors the trellis base on the bucket. An inward bias means to inwardly bias and maintain the hold down means in position can also be used. The base surface portion carries at least one removable upright trellis holding means to removably carry the plant trellis.

  • Publication number: 20120227318
Abstract: A plant training structure is used for training a plant to grow in a direction other than vertically. The plant training structure has a central pillar, a spine, at least one lateral frame arm, and a mesh. The spine is supported by the central pillar and extends in at least two directions away from the central pillar. The at least one lateral frame arm is carried by the spine and disposed on at least two opposing sides of the central pillar. The mesh is attached to and suspended between the lateral frame arms over at least a portion of the central pillar. A plant growing under the plant training structure is restrained from growing vertically by the mesh.

  • Patent number: 4987363
Abstract: A time registering electric energy meter for measuring usage of an AC energy quantity includes primary and secondary DC power supplies and a microprocessor, having a realtime clock maintained by the 60 Hz AC energy quantity, for maintaining realtime and for generating AC energy usage information determined by a number of time-related events. The meter further includes power outage recovery circuitry for measuring the duration of an outage of the AC energy quantity and for restoring the amount of lost realtime to the realtime clock of the microprocessor upon resumption of the AC energy quantity. The power outage recovery circuitry includes apparatus for iteratively updating the microprocessor realtime clock while comparing the updated realtime with the clock calendar times of the number of time-related events to account for the occurrence of such events during the outage of the AC energy quantity.

  • Patent number: 4566034
Abstract: A microprocessor for use in individual remote control transmitters for controlling respective different devices and for a unified remote control transmitter for controlling all the devices is programmed in the same manner for each in order to reduce inventory and testing costs to the manufacturer and thereby reduce the cost to consumers. The particular sequence of operation in a given remote control transmitter is determined by external "strap" connections to the input and output terminals of the microprocessor. The remote control messages generated by a remote control transmitter includes preamble and data portions which are dependent on the strap connections and function keys activated by the user and in the case of the unified remote control transmitter by an external memory which stores the device selected for control by means of device selection keys.
