  • Publication number: 20040093246
Abstract: A method of creating an aggregated Internet accessible registry includes the step of accepting a query from a registrant. The query contains an identifier and a search criteria, the identifier identifying one of a multitude of registry databases. Registries matching the search criteria in the selected registry database are retrieved. When the registrant selects one of the matching registries, a general user identifier that uniquely identifies the registrant is associated with the registry. Additional queries and registry selection completes the aggregation registry process. The aggregated registry is managed on-line by the registrants and accessed by guests. The aggregated registry provides a framework that allows automated updates by registry database provides without loss of the identity of an aggregated registry.

  • Publication number: 20030211082
Abstract: A method for altering fertility of a plant or modifying its structure is described. The method comprises, in any order, contacting the seed of the plant with Pink-Pigmented Facultative Methylotroph (PPFM) that in the aggregate produces more or less amount of cytokinin than the PPFM that was previously associated with the plant, and then planting the seed.

  • Publication number: 20010001095
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for increasing productivity of a plant by spraying Pink Pigmented Facultative Methylotroph (PPFM) on a plant. The invention also relates to increasing productivity of a plant under stress by applying Pink Pigmented Facultative Methylotroph (PPFM) to a plant and subsequently applying an aqueous solution containing methanol to the plant.

  • Patent number: 6044040
Abstract: A method of acquiring seismic data locates a central position above a peaked stratigraphic subsurface. The method then positions receiver lines radially out from the central position, angularly displaced relative to one another, at equal intervals, throughout an entire circle. The method then positions shot lines between and transverse to the receiver lines. The method can also change the circle to the shape of an ellipse. For an ellipse, the receiver lines radiate from a point at the intersection of the major and minor axes of the ellipse. The receiver lines are more closely spaced about the end points of the major axis than about the end points of the minor axis. The shot lines are more closely spaced adjacent the end points of the major axis than adjacent the end points of the minor axis.

  • Patent number: 5512069
Abstract: Seeds coated or impregnated with at least one pink pigmented facultative methylotroph (PPFM) have improved germinability. PPFMs can be cultured to produce the cytokinin zeatin.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 31, 1995

  • Patent number: 5268171
Abstract: A method of altering the metabolism of a plant includes the steps of genetically altering at least one commensal bacterium of the plant to alter the level and nature of the enzyme activity produced by the plant. Because of the close relationship between the commensal bacteria and plant with regard to total enzyme activity, and the relationship of total enzyme activity to agronomic production, the present invention provides a mechanism to significantly improve agronomic performance.
