  • Patent number: 10416281
Abstract: Regional positioning system using timed pulses. In an embodiment, a plurality of beacon devices are selected by a processor of a target device. For each beacon device, a connection to the beacon device is established, a first pulse is transmitted to the beacon device, a second pulse is received from the beacon device, a flight duration, including both a time of flight of the first pulse and a time of flight of the second pulse, is timed, and a distance to the beacon device is calculated based on the flight duration. A location of the target device is then computed based on the calculated distances for the selected beacon devices and the locations of the beacon devices.

  • Publication number: 20170363498
Abstract: An apparatus, method and system are provided which permit the monitoring of a dunnage bag used as a cushion in the transportation of cargo items which may be typically found in as shipping container. A gas pressure sensor may be attached directly to the dunnage bag and the pressure can be monitored remotely. The gas pressure sensor can also be enclosed within a sealed and pressurized enclosure whereby the gas sensor reading can serve as indication of pressure of a nearby dunnage bag within which the enclosure is in contact. The dunnage bag pressure readings can be wirelessly monitored from a remote location and the bag pressure may be controlled remotely.

  • Publication number: 20170257935
Abstract: An intelligent lighting system provides synchronization for lighting units having light emitting diodes within a flexible, light transmissive structure in connection with receiving lighting commands from a remote DMX controller. The system includes lighting units, a microcontroller and a receiver for wirelessly receiving the commands from the DMX controller. A process is implemented to achieve lighting unit execution synchronization as a result of calculating more accurate delay times, by an iterative method, in connection with executing DMX commands.

  • Patent number: 9750156
Abstract: System for distributing cabling. In an embodiment, a unit comprises two levels. Each level comprises openings, on two opposing surfaces, arranged in a row parallel to a first axis, with each opening opposite to one opening on the opposing surface. Each level comprises parallel main conduits between the surfaces. Each main conduit is angled relative to a second axis, intersecting the surfaces and orthogonal to the first axis, such that each main conduit connects an opening on one surface to an opening on the other surface that is offset by one opening from its opposing opening on the other surface. A divergent conduit connects openings on one of the two surfaces to an opening on a third surface, and an articulated conduit, angled relative to a third axis that is orthogonal to the first and second axes, connects an opening on one level to an opening on the other level.
