  • Publication number: 20140201902
Abstract: A washing-area drainage trough comprises a sloping-walled drainage channel having a water flow surface defining at least one fall, at least two predefined recessed waste-water outlet locators in the water flow surface, and at least one bridging element locatable in at least one of the recessed waste-water outlet locators. The bridging element has an upper surface which lies flush or substantially flush with at least a portion of the water flow surface to define a smooth or substantially smooth flow path transition between the water flow surface of the drainage channel and the bridging element.

  • Patent number: 8181287
Abstract: A shower tray (10) comprising a trimmable edge (26) for trimming a dimension of the tray to fit a given area, a waste water gully (28) which extends from the trimmable edge (26) and which includes a gully fall (32) in a direction away from the trimmable edge (26), and a waste water surface (30) which extends with the gully (28) from the trimmable edge (26). The waste water surface (30) has a waste water surface fall (34) which is parallel or substantially parallel to the trimmable edge (26) and which leads into the gully (28). As a result of the waste water surface fall (34) and the gully fall (32), a two stage water runoff arrangement is provided.

  • Patent number: 7900294
Abstract: A shower tray access ramp comprises a ramp part and a transition part selectively attachable to the ramp part. The ramp part has a first edge for connection to a shower tray, a second edge which is opposite the first edge and which is engagable with the transition part, and a ramp portion intermediate the first and second edges. The second edge includes a flange which is spaced from an upper ramp surface of the ramp portion and which is fastenable to a ramp supporting surface. The transition part has a first transition edge which is seatable on the flange of the ramp part, a second transition edge which is opposite the first transition edge and which tapers to or substantially to a point to provide a transition from the ramp supporting surface onto the access ramp, and a transition ramp portion intermediate the first and second transition edges.

  • Publication number: 20080189926
Abstract: A flexible-wet-floor waste for engagement with flexible waterproof floor covering material, comprises a waste body, a waste-water inlet (28) for the passage of waste water into the waste body, a waste-water outlet for connection of the waste body to a drain, means (30, 32) for engaging flexible waterproof floor covering material with the waste, and a tiling adaptor (10). The tiling adaptor (10) includes an adaptor body (12) having an upper surface (18) with a perimeter edge (24) for lying flush or substantially flush with an upper surface of adjacent or abutting tiles, an aperture (14) formed in the adaptor body (12) for liquid communication with the waste-water inlet (28), and means (32, 38, 42) for directly or indirectly engaging the body (12) of the tiling adaptor (10) with the waste body. A single kind of waste can thus be used with both tiles and flexible waterproof floor covering material.
