  • Patent number: 10398992
Abstract: A toy figurine includes internal light and sound effects that are coordinated with the manipulation of a toy figurine joint. The toy figurine joint may be configured to perform an action when manipulated. The light and sound effects may be coordinated with the performance of that action. The light and sound effects may serve to enhance or embellish the performance of that action. The embellishment stimulates the senses and the imagination and otherwise enhances the play value of the toy figure.

  • Patent number: 7950979
Abstract: A toy vehicle is transformed from a first configuration to a second configuration through relative movement of two portions of the vehicle. The vehicle includes a roof panel which closes a roof area during the transition from the first configuration to the second configuration. The closing of the roof area hides the displacement of a first seat in the vehicle by a second seat. When the first seat is mounted with a first toy figure and the second seat is mounted with a different toy figure, an illusion is created that the initial toy figure has changed appearance. The roof panel may close and reopen at a rate rapid enough to render the change of toy figures to be an instantaneous transformation. Additional deployable components such as projectile launchers, tail fins, and front bumpers may be incorporated into the toy vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6074265
Abstract: A glider body preferably formed of a light weight material such as foam plastic defines a sufficiently aerodynamic shape to glide through the air. A launcher assembly is secured to the under side to the glider body and includes a stretched elastic member supported upon a launcher frame defining a channel therethrough. The elastic member is retained so as to span the frontal portion of the channel. A launcher handle includes an upper portion having a notch and a forwardly extending tine configured to be received within the channel and to engage the spanning portion of elastic member. The launcher handle and glider are drawn apart to store energy in the elastic member which upon release of the glider launches the glider into flight carrying the launcher assembly therewith.

  • Patent number: 5522756
Abstract: An air driven sound generating toy includes a support base having a bellows housing secured thereto. A bellows chamber is supported within the bellows housing and is coupled to a collapsible resilient air bellows. A tube receptacle is supported by the base and operatively coupled to the bellows chamber. A pair of check valves are supported within the bellows chamber to provide a stream of pressurized air into the tube receptacle as the bellows is successively collapsed and expanded. An elongated hollow sounding tube includes opposed end portions each couplable to the tube receptacle in an alternative attachment. A quantity of malleable play material is received within the interior passage of the sound tube and is caused to move upwardly through the sound tube as the air bellows is operated to produce pressurized air within the tube receptacle and sound tube.

  • Patent number: 5297980
Abstract: A suctioning and pumping toy for malleable play materials includes a hollow cylinder having a closed end supporting a nozzle. A piston rod is received within the hollow cylinder and supports a resilient piston. A transversely extending cylindrical barrel housing is supported upon the cylindrical member and defines an interior cavity for receiving a plurality of play articles. A plurality of interrelated toy figures and play articles are variously configured to be utilized in combination with the suctioning and pumping toy together with a malleable play material having viscosity properties which permit the play material to be suctioned into and pumped from the cylindrical bore of the pumping and suctioning toy as the piston rod is moved by the user.

  • Patent number: 5261850
Abstract: An elastic material inflation toy includes an elongated base and a generally spherical housing. The elongated base supports a collapsible air bellows and a pair of one-way check valves which cooperate with the air bellows to produce a stream of pressurized air as the air bellows are operated. An inflation tube is coupled between the air bellows pressure output and the spherical housing. The spherical housing defines an annular collar which receives a pancake-like shape quantity of elastic material. A pivotally secured annular lock ring includes a lock clasp for securing the lock ring upon the elastic material in a sealing attachment whereby the elastic material forms a generally air-tight seal against the spherical housing collar. As the air bellows are operated, the pressure within the spherical housing inflates the portion of the elastic material spanning the collar into a spherical expansion similar to a bubble.
