  • Patent number: 12034774
Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for controlling access of a computing device to a multi-layer network implementing a zero-trust architecture, the multi-layer network including a switch and apparatus for controlling access to a plurality of hierarchical levels of the multi-layer network. The method includes receiving, at the apparatus, an access request message from the computing device, the access request message including one or more identifiers associated with the computing device for requesting access to the multi-layer network. The method further includes determining a hierarchical penetration level among the plurality of hierarchical levels of the multi-layer network to be assigned to the computing device based on the one or more identifiers within the access request message.

  • Patent number: 11604453
Abstract: Described are new methods and systems for provisioning factory devices in enterprise network systems using specially configured Factory Device Provisioning (FDP) portals, FDP modules, which is used for supporting various operations of the FDP portals, and enterprise device management (EDM) modules. In some examples, an EDM module stores a device-information set (e.g., an asset tag), while an FDP module stores a device-location list and a device profile, corresponding to a certain factory device. An FDP portal allows a user, through a user interface provided by the DRP portal, to retrieve and review this information without directly interacting with the EDM module. The FDP portal then allows the user to initiate a device enrollment request for the factory device. The FDP module generates a device-configuring information, which is presented by the FDP portal and used for connecting the factory device to the enterprise network system.

  • Patent number: 11328137
Abstract: A system is provided that includes a rack including mount positions to accept electronic equipment modules that are rack mountable and equipped with respective RFID tags, and a RFID reader array including RFID readers each of which is associated with a respective mount position, and has a read field that among the mount positions extends into only the respective mount position. Processing circuitry causes an RFID reader to radiate an interrogation signal within its read field, and in response, receive module identifiable information from an RFID tag of an electronic equipment module mounted at the mount position. A signal including the module identifiable information and mount position identifiable information is transmitted to the processing circuitry, and a second signal to a computer configured to identify the electronic equipment module from the module identifiable information, and locate the electronic equipment module at the mount position from the mount position identifiable information.

  • Patent number: 10911954
Abstract: A device includes a processor configured to detect that a mobile device is within a coverage area of a wireless transceiver. The processor is also configured to select, based at least in part on a mobile device identifier of the mobile device, a data package identifier from a plurality of data package identifiers. The device also includes the wireless transceiver. The wireless transceiver is configured to transmit a command instructing the mobile device to access a data package corresponding to the selected data packet identifier. The command includes authorization data indicating that the processor is a trusted source.

  • Patent number: 7327869
Abstract: A software system including simulation routines embedded inside a computer aided drafting (CAD) platform. The routines simulate the inspection processes prior to the execution of the physical inspection process. The simulator works within the host CAD platform and drives a three dimensional probe through a numerically defined inspection path of inspection points and vectors with specified clearance geometry included.
