  • Patent number: 9759451
Abstract: A recirculating bath includes a reservoir for receiving a working liquid, a recirculating pump, and at least one thermal element. The recirculating pump and thermal element are located externally to the reservoir so that the reservoir has an unobstructed working space. The thermal element may be thermally coupled to the working liquid through an interior surface of the reservoir, or the working liquid may be circulated over the thermal element by the recirculating pump in a chamber external to the reservoir. The recirculating bath may also include a lid that provides access to the reservoir by pivoting on a latching hinge. When open, the lid may provide a working surface adjacent to the reservoir. The lid may also include a selector that unlatches the hinge so that the lid can be removed. The recirculating pump may be fluidically coupled to the reservoir via a manifold.

  • Patent number: 9457350
Abstract: A rack is provided for use with a temperature controlled bath having a housing containing a reservoir with a supply of working fluid and an opening providing access to the reservoir. The rack includes a rack body, and a vessel support supported by the rack body and configured for supporting at least one vessel. The rack further includes a supporting foot assembly supported by the rack body and including a plurality of support feet. Each support foot is configured for movement between a stowed position and a deployed position.

  • Patent number: 8267438
Abstract: A two-piece flange adapter including two identical flange parts. Each flange part has two ends, with each end having a planar mating surface disposed at each end of the channel disposed on an inner diameter surface of the flange part. A projection extends from one planar mating surface and is formed to continue the channel for a predetermined distance past the planar mating surface. The other end of the flange and channel define a groove having a depth that accepts the projection of a mating flange part to form a complete channel. A gasket having a cross-sectional area with an internal cavity is compressively disposed in a pocket defined by the channel and the mating pipes. The cross-sectional area of the gasket occupies less than 87% of the pocket and can also occupy approximately 82-84% of the pocket.

  • Patent number: 6617867
Abstract: A mechanism for attaching a device interface board (DIB) to a surface of a test head or peripheral includes first and second pulldown mechanisms attached to the surface and a substantially U-shaped actuator. Each of the pulldown mechanisms includes a rotating member coupled to a connecting member via a translation interface. The translation interface converts rotation of the rotating member into vertical movement of the connecting member. The U-shaped actuator has first and second ends respectively coupled to the rotating members of the first and second pulldown mechanisms. Swinging the U-shaped actuator through an arc rotates the rotating members and causes the connecting members to move vertically. A DIB that latches with the connecting members can thus be pulled down against the surface quickly and conveniently, with sufficient mechanical leverage for compressing large numbers of spring-loaded pins.
