    Abstract: Example embodiments are related to intraosseous infusion port (IOP) devices to provide access to bone marrow cavities. The IOP device according to example embodiments may comprise a proximal portion with a hollow chamber extending through the proximal portion, the hollow chamber having a proximal inlet for receiving an insertion device. The IOP device may also include an anchor portion positioned distally to the proximal portion, the anchor portion may be configured for anchoring the infusion port device in a bone, and an open-ended channel extending through the anchor portion, the channel being in fluid communication with the hollow chamber, such that, when the infusion port is implanted into a bone, the channel and the hollow chamber create a substantially straight pathway terminating at an opening at its distal end for insertion of the insertion device towards the bone marrow.

The harvesting device may further include a first gripping element disposed about the dissection tip and a second gripping element disposed about the dissection tip distally of the first gripping member. The second gripping member may be moveable with respect to the first gripping member for capturing a blood vessel between the first gripping member and the second gripping member. The blood vessel captured between first gripping member and the second gripping member may then be sealed and, subsequently, severed by a cauterizing element disposed between the first gripping member and the second gripping member.

The implantable injection port includes a base having an anchor opening, a gear coupled to the base and rotatable about a central axis, the gear having a plurality of gear teeth, an anchor coupled to the gear, and a top portion spaced apart from the base and having a plurality of top teeth that engage with the plurality of gear teeth. The top portion is rotatable causing rotation of the gear such that the rotation of the gear causes movement of the anchor through the anchor opening of the base and into the tissue of the patient.
