  • Publication number: 20240403454
Abstract: A system for controlling access to an electronic resource can comprise a set of sensors and one or more processors. A first sensor in the set of sensors may detect first data indicating a characteristic of a user of the electronic resource. A second sensor in the set of sensors may detect second data indicating a characteristic of an environment of the electronic resource. The processors may use an ensemble of machine learning models to generate a score characterizing the user and characterizing the environment. The generated score may be evaluated based on one or more access criteria. Access to the electronic resource may be controlled based on the evaluation of the score.

  • Publication number: 20240384690
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a butterfly member of an exhaust brake valve assembly. The method includes providing a metal material, machining the metal material to form a body, and drilling a through bore in a central portion of the body, thereby delimiting a first side of the body from a second side of the body that is opposite the first side. The through bore is configured to receive a shaft for pivoting movement of the body in a valve housing of the exhaust brake valve assembly. The method further includes positioning the body for a single machining operation and machining the body to form a first sealing face on the first side of the body and a second sealing face on the second side of the body. The first sealing face defines a first plane and the second sealing face defines a second plane spaced from the first plane.

  • Publication number: 20240280071
Abstract: An exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve assembly includes a valve housing with a wall defining a flow passage. The valve housing defines a bore communicating with the flow passage. A shaft is supported in the bore and extends into the flow passage. A flap is supported on the shaft in the flow passage. The flap is movable relative to the flow passage between a closed position and an open position. A sealing member projects from the wall into the flow path. The sealing member has a sealing surface that interacts with the flap in the closed position to inhibit gas flow through the flow passage, an opposite surface tapering toward the wall, and a circumferential end surface proximate and tapered away from the bore. The flap is coined against the sealing surface. A spider assembly is positioned between the shaft and a drive shaft of an actuator assembly.

  • Patent number: 12042738
Abstract: A three dimensional chess game method and apparatus which features four levels, one square, non-playing surface baseboard and four square sub-levels, one quarter the size of the baseboard, adjacent and above the base board at various heights. Sub-levels are divided into sixteen squares, by combining the squares from all of the sub-levels there are sixty-four possible playing positions. The King, queen, bishop and knight acquire three dimensional movement by using the height difference between sub-levels, and using square placement on each sub-levels as equal, when the king, queen, or bishop land on a square on any sub-level, all sub-levels holds a virtual playing piece on that square location. Three dimensional movement is obtained through rotation around center point of the chess board as the piece moves from sub-level to sub-level and X, Y and Z, movements between sub-levels which is utilized by the knight.

  • Publication number: 20230205947
Abstract: Systems and methods for simulating cyber-physical systems are disclosed. A plurality of geographic simulation layers representing respective infrastructure sectors of a real-world environment may be generated, and the layers may be linked together with one another to create a multi-layer simulation. The associations between the layers of the simulation may be adjusted, and characteristics of the simulation layers themselves may be adjusted, to ensure that the simulation conforms to characteristics of the real-world environment being simulated. In some embodiments, a multi-user simulation system allows users at separate terminals to execute attack inputs and defense inputs against the simulation to try to destabilize and stabilize the simulation, respectively. Results of the attack inputs and defense inputs may be simultaneously displayed on a plurality of terminals.
