  • Patent number: 10357857
Abstract: A fabrication apparatus and system for facilitating three dimensional motion of an object within the system. The apparatus and system utilizing a delta style manipulation system having a plurality of guide rails and corresponding gliders. The guide rails having an extended axial body having rigid side wall with a hollow interior cavity. The guide rail further including a key or slot extending through the side wall, the key or slot being parallel to a main central axis of each guide rail. A corresponding glider is provided for each guide rail, each glider having an exterior portion and an interior portion, wherein the exterior portion substantially encompasses the guide rail about an outer surface, and the interior portion being coupled to a driving mechanism which facilitates axial motion of the glider about the guide rail.

  • Patent number: 10213965
Abstract: A truss-formation apparatus comprising two truss makers and a lateral stage, wherein the truss makers create trusses and each truss maker comprises thermal dies, heaters with temperature sensors, and mandrels; wherein the truss makers form trusses that comprise parallel truss elements and battens; wherein a pultrusion actuator pulls parallel truss elements down along a mandrel; wherein a batten actuator causes a thermal die to rotate around a mandrel forming battens that connect parallel truss elements to one another; and wherein the lateral stage comprises a thermal die and traverses the gap between the parallel trusses forming cross members that connect the trusses.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20130346146
Abstract: A system may include a search engine coupled to an Outcome Driven Innovation (ODI) repository. The system may include a segmentation engine having segmentation tools that segments a market using segmentation tools. A metadata engine may tag and bundle data records algorithmically, append meta-data associated with business information (BI) to data records, facilitate portfolio optimization decisions, facilitate capturing relationships between different records and record types, and facilitate calculation, ranking, analysis, and reporting of opportunity scores. A strategy engine may include strategic tools for pulling in data from various sources, visualizing, interacting with, capturing and synthesizing insights so as to facilitate strategic planning. An extract, transform, load (ETL) engine may extract data from outside sources, transform the data to fit operational requirements, and load the transformed data into to ODI data repository.
