  • Publication number: 20250121041
Abstract: This invention relates to a wholly recombinant four factor hemostatic complex concentrate (4F-PCC) composition, human liver cell-produced product. Methods of producing a hemostatic composition using a hepatocyte cell line and a CRISPR/Cas9 gene activation multiplexing, which allows for simultaneous and high level expression of the FII, FVII, FIX, and FX clotting factors. The resultant product is a recombinant resuscitation solution to aid in mitigation of coagulopathy, reversal of coagulopathic states, and fluid resuscitation.

  • Publication number: 20240278233
Abstract: Systems, devices, and techniques are configured to detect disease from a biological sample. In one example, a diagnostic system includes a first housing portion defining an injection port, a first chamber configured to contain a first solution, a second chamber configured to contain a second solution, and a second housing portion defining at least one waste chamber configured to receive fluid from at least one of the first chamber or the second chamber. The system also includes a sliding panel comprising a sample chamber configured to contain a biological sample, wherein the sliding panel is positioned between the first housing portion and the second housing portion and configured to move the sample chamber to different positions corresponding to at least the first chamber and the second chamber of the first housing portion.

  • Publication number: 20170175143
Abstract: This disclosure describes methods, polynucleotides, cells, compositions, and treatment methods that involve channeling a genomic nucleotide sequence. Generally, the method includes introducing a donor polynucleotide and a nucleotide that encodes an enzyme that cuts at least one strand of DNA into a cell that has a genomic sequence in need of editing, allowing the enzyme to cut at least one strand of the genomic sequence, and allowing the donor sequence to replace the genomic sequence in need of editing.
