  • Patent number: 11972321
Abstract: Systems, computer-implemented methods, and computer program products to facilitate quantum computing job scheduling are provided. According to an embodiment, a system can comprise a memory that stores computer executable components and a processor that executes the computer executable components stored in the memory. The computer executable components can comprise a scheduler component that can determine a run order of quantum computing jobs based on one or more quantum based run constraints. The computer executable components can further comprise a run queue component that can store the quantum computing jobs based on the run order. In an embodiment, the scheduler component can determine the run order based on availability of one or more qubits comprising a defined level of fidelity.

  • Patent number: 11948109
Abstract: Techniques for planning resources using block and route information are described. In an example, a computing system determines a demand for item transportation expected during a planning horizon. The computing system determines information about a pre-planned transportation resource available during the planning horizon and costs associated with the pre-planned transportation resource. The computing system uses an optimization model to determine a block having a time length, a tour to transport, during the block, a first portion of the demand using the pre-planned transportation resource, and a second portion of the demand to be transported using an on-demand transportation resource. The computing system indicates, to a first computing device of the pre-planned transportation resource, an assignment of the block to the pre-planned transportation resource.

  • Patent number: 11663556
Abstract: Techniques for generating an item transmission portal are described herein. First information for a plurality of carriers may be maintained which includes a capacity for each carrier. Historical capacity requirements for geographic locations may be maintained. For each geographic location a forecast of future capacity requirements, for each week of a plurality of weeks, may be generated based on the historical capacity requirements. A plurality of documents may be generated for each geographic location based on the forecast and the first information. A value may be determined for each document based on a time and capacity commitment for each document, the historical capacity requirements, and the forecast. A user interface may be generated that includes the plurality of documents and corresponding determined values. The user interface may be updated to reflect acceptance of a specific document by a carrier in response to input received via the user interface.

  • Publication number: 20120158106
Abstract: A temperature pack adapted to enclose an appendage, and method of forming such a temperature pack is provided. The temperature pack is a tubular pouch with an inner wall spaced apart from an outer wall. An opening extending through the tubular pouch, and the inner wall is twisted relative to the outer wall. The temperature pack is formed by rolling a tube onto itself such that the distal ends of the tube are aligned to each other. The temperature pack may be filled with particulate material separated from a liquid solvent wherein when the two are mixed an exothermic or endothermic reaction occurs.

One distal end is then twisted with respect to the other so as to form a temperature pack having a mobious strip and only one seal. The temperature pack may be filled with a gelatinous solution capable of retaining heat or cold. Alternatively the temperature pack may be filled with particulate material separated from a liquid solvent wherein when the two are mixed an exothermic or endothermic reaction occurs.

  • Publication number: 20070093668
Abstract: A process is disclosed for the epoxidation of an olefin with hydrogen and oxygen in the presence of an oxidation catalyst comprising a transition metal zeolite, and a noble metal catalyst comprising a noble metal and an ion-exchange resin. The process is highly productive and selective in making epoxides. A noble metal catalyst comprising a cation-exchanged resin further improves the productivity and/or the selectivity of the process.

  • Publication number: 20060094889
Abstract: The invention is a process for epoxidizing an olefin with hydrogen and oxygen in the presence of a noble metal-containing titanium or vanadium zeolite and a modifier selected from the group consisting of carbon monoxide, methylacetylene, and propadiene. The process results in significantly reduced alkane by-product formed by the hydrogenation of olefin compared to processes that do not use the carbon monoxide, methylacetylene, and/or propadiene modifier.
