  • Publication number: 20240251966
Abstract: An intelligent automated chair that is configured to have uploaded various operating models to run a sequence of patterns that cause the intelligent automated chair to alternate between various positions. An intelligent automated chair system configured to receive data from various inputs including user input, sensors, biosensors, historical usage, profile, and others to generate a recommended operating model for the intelligent automated chair. An intelligent automated chair system running an operating model that is interruptible manually by a user or as a result of sensed date, which can alter the pattern or parameters of the operating model.

  • Publication number: 20240148149
Abstract: A locking mechanism for a smart automated chair is provided. The chair is operable to move a seat between a horizontal seating position and a vertical downward standing position. When moving to the horizontal seating position, in some instances a user may sit on the seat before it has reached a locked horizontal position, this can increase a risk of the seat slipping or otherwise releasing to a downward vertical position, causing risk of inconvenience to a user, the locking mechanism herein addresses this issue.

  • Publication number: 20230014385
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a method of collecting and using data obtained from an intelligent automated chair to optimize workflow and increase a user or group's health and productivity. Sensors in the intelligent automated chair can include motion, touch, heart rate, weight, presence, sound, keystroke, etc. In addition, posture, health, and productivity data are collected and compared over periods of time along with a learning algorithm to recommend specific operating models to increase a user or group's overall posture, health, and productivity. The methods and systems are configured to recommend action steps based on usage that can include a chair training program, nutritional training program, mental health training, bonus consideration, rewards program, advancement consideration, etc. Furthermore, the metrics and recommendations can assist with addressing issues associated with absenteeism and presenteeism.
