  • Publication number: 20260104123
Abstract: A water diverter device for includes a hitch receiver that is attachable to a rear end of a vehicle. An angled member is releasably matable to the hitch receiver thereby enabling the angled member to extend rearwardly from the rear end of the vehicle. The angled member extends over an open fire hydrant when the vehicle is parked on a roadway adjacent to a location of the open fire hydrant. A terminal member is matable to the angled member and a diverter plate is attached to the terminal member. The diverter plate is positioned over the open fire hydrant to divert water spraying upwardly from the open fire hydrant into a lateral flow. In this way the water spraying upwardly does not rain down upon a service worker.

  • Publication number: 20250283167
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods of determining a tumor fraction of a sample from a subject. The methods can include, for example, acquiring a value for a target variable associated with a subgenomic interval m the sample; determining, from the target variable, a certainty metric: accessing a determined relationship between a stored certainty metric and a stored tumor fraction; and determining, with reference to the certainty metric and the determined relationship, the tumor fraction of the sample. In some instances, the method can further include determining a tumor fraction of the sample using a determination of somatic allele frequency when the estimate of tumor fraction calculated from the certainty metric falls below a cut-off threshold.

  • Publication number: 20250095775
Abstract: Methods for determining a variant frequency in a test sample from a subject, and methods for labeling sequencing reads as having or not having a variant are described herein. Exemplary methods include generating a reference match score and a variant match score by aligning sequencing reads to a corresponding variant sequence and a corresponding reference sequence, and labeling the sequencing read as having or not having the variant based on the determined match scores. Also described herein are methods monitoring disease progression and methods of treating a subject having a disease. Further described are devices and systems for implementing such methods.

  • Patent number: 11044271
Abstract: A method for implementing adaptive policy based computer security is described. In one embodiment, the method may include monitoring a behavior of a user on a computing device associated with the user, determining whether the user triggers one or more policy triggers associated with a broad policy or at least one sub-policy of the broad policy, or both, and upon determining the user triggers at least one policy trigger during the monitoring period, implementing a customized version of the broad policy on the computing device. In some cases, the method may include implementing the broad policy on the computing device upon determining the user does not trigger any of the one or more policy triggers. In other cases, the method may include triggering at least one of the policy triggers based at least in part on a requested action and determining whether the requested action includes a security threat.

  • Patent number: 10746575
Abstract: A vehicular exterior mirror assembly includes a turn signal unit disposed at a mirror casing of the exterior mirror assembly. The turn signal unit includes a housing portion, at least one light source and a lens. With the exterior mirror assembly disposed at a side of an equipped vehicle, light emitted by the at least one light source, when the at least one light source is electrically powered, passes through the lens in the direction of forward travel of the equipped vehicle. With the exterior mirror assembly disposed at the side of the equipped vehicle, the turn signal unit (i) responsive to a charge level signal indicative of a vehicle charge level of a power source of the equipped vehicle, emits light to indicate the vehicle charge level, and (ii) responsive to actuation of a turn signal indicator of the equipped vehicle, emits light to provide a turn signal indication.
