  • Publication number: 20190062846
Abstract: The present invention provides methods for screening and diagnosing pediatric low-grade glioma (PLGG) based on a correlation between angiocentric glioma and MYB-QKI rearrangement. Specific methods for detecting the rearrangement encompass cytogenetic methods, DNA sequencing, RNA sequencing and antibody-based methods to detect the fusion protein.

  • Publication number: 20050112063
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for decreasing or inhibiting disorders associated with vascular hyperpermeability and to methods of screening for compounds that affect permeability, angiogenesis and stabilize tight junctions. In one aspect of the present invention there is provided a method of decreasing or inhibiting vascular hyperpermeability in an individual in need of such treatment. The method includes administering to the individual an effective amount of an antiangiogenic compound selected from the group consisting of endostatin, thrombospondin, angiostatin, tumstatin, arrestin, recombinant EPO and polymer conjugated TNP-470. Other antiangiogenic compounds are disclosed herein.

  • Publication number: 20030054837
Abstract: A telephone call routing system routes a telephone call from a caller to a mobile resource which is local to the caller and available. Specifically, the mobile resource may be a taxi, such that a customer can “hail” a taxi, without being in the direct line of sight of a taxi driver. An automatic coordinator manages the mobile resources and callers to a call centre and can automatically allocate available and nearby mobile resources to a caller, so that conversation between the caller and an operator of the mobile resource helps direct the mobile resource to the caller.
