Patent number: 10339570Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and computer program product provide the ability to deliver an advertisement. Customization attributes for displaying billboard advertisements are defined. Each billboard advertisement comprises an advertisement for media content. A user requests access to a website and the server computer transmits the website that includes or provides access to the advertisements. Based on the customization attributes, a first billboard advertisement is primarily displayed without occlusion and remaining billboard advertisements are displayed partially occluded by the first billboard advertisement.Type: GrantFiled: April 20, 2011Date of Patent: July 2, 2019Assignee: FOX ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, INC.Inventors: Elaine M. Patent number: 9075998Abstract: A system, method, and computer readable storage medium provide multi-platform accessibility of media content in a global computer network. Media content is selected in a client computer. Based on a format of the content, a media content player is loaded. If the content is not digital rights managements (DRM) protected, it is loaded and played in the player. If the content is DRM protected, a license to play the content is requested via an API and obtained via a server process. A web server computer creates/updates an authorized client user by communicating with a DRM server. The web server then creates a session with the DRM server and enables authorization to play by communicating with the DRM server that transmits the license to the client computer. Based on the license, the client loads and plays the content in the player.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 2013Date of Patent: July 7, 2015Assignee: FOX ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, INC.Inventors: Elaine M. Spooner, John D. Koscheka, Michael Scott Bessolo, Mark L. Simpson, Jean L. Yuan, J. Craig D. Russell, Christopher M. Bettes, Greg McCarthy, Srinivas Kundula, Venkata Nagaraju Mantena

Patent number: 8584256Abstract: A system, method, and computer readable storage medium provides the ability to deliver media content. A repository stores media content and marketing assets for the media content. A server computer provides a website accessible on the Internet worldwide to client computers. The website provides the ability to search a public site catalog/library of media content that is publicly available. The website further provides marketing assets for licensed media content from the library to authorized client users (that have a license to media content) in a secure manner. The website further provides preview screening access and download access to licensed media content (e.g., titles of audio-visual media content) to the authorized client users.Type: GrantFiled: April 20, 2011Date of Patent: November 12, 2013Assignee: Fox Entertainment Group, Inc.Inventors: Elaine M. Publication number: 20110265150Abstract: A system, method, apparatus, and computer readable storage medium provide the ability to deliver media content in a secure manner in a computer system. A storage repository stores media content and marketing assets for the media content. A server computer is coupled to the storage repository and enabled to provide access to the media content and marketing assets via a website accessible on the Internet worldwide to a user. A digital advertising publicity repository (DAPR) enables an administrator to define first access rights for the user to access the website and second access rights for the user to access the DAPR.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 20, 2011Publication date: October 27, 2011Applicant: FOX ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, INC.Inventors: Elaine M. Patent number: 6862802Abstract: An apparatus for use in attaching a head gimbal assembly (HGA) onto an actuator arm of an actuator assembly during an HGA installation process. The apparatus includes, a central body portion with a base support surface; and a pair of support arms extending from the central body portion forming a channel sized to accommodate expansion of an attachment aperture of an actuator arm during the installation process. Each support arm includes, a first and second support surface offset from and parallel to the base support surface. A first support arm thickness is formed between the first support surface and the base support surface, while a second support arm thickness is formed between the second support surface and the base support having a thickness less than the first support arm thickness. Each support arm thickness supports a corresponding HGA adjacent actuator arm during the installation process.Type: GrantFiled: June 28, 2002Date of Patent: March 8, 2005Assignee: Seagate Technology LLCInventors: Dennis Q. Cruz, Darrell R. Johnson, Mark L. Simpson, Jason P. Delaney

Publication number: 20030154595Abstract: Method and apparatus for attaching a head gimbal assembly (HGA) onto a rigid actuator arm of an actuator assembly. A spacer key is provided comprising a support arm having a base support surface and adjacent first and second support surfaces opposite the base support surface. The support arm has a first thickness from the first support surface to the base support surface and a second thickness from the second support surface to the base support surface. The second thickness is greater than the first thickness by a distance nominally equal to a thickness of an HGA base plate. During installation the second thickness is used to support a single HGA between adjacent actuator arms, while the first thickness is used to support a pair of opposing HGAs between the adjacent actuator arms.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 28, 2002Publication date: August 21, 2003Applicant: Seagate Technology LLCInventors: Dennis Q. Cruz, Darrell R. Johnson, Mark L. Simpson, Jason P. Delaney
